A married couple’s life is turned upside down when the wife is accused of a murder. Lara Brennan is arrested for murdering her boss with whom she had an argument. It seems she was seen leaving the scene of the crime and her fingerprints were on the murder weapon. Her husband, John would spend the next few years trying to get her released, but there’s no evidence that negates the evidence against her. And when the strain of being separated from her family, especially her son, gets to her, John decides to break her out. So he does a lot of research to find a way.

  • A friend told me to watch this movie… Without reading a summary I put the TV on. I had no idea which kind of style the movie would be. I expected a story full of lawyers to free the woman accused for murder. Not of this was true, I saw a great mix between action, crime and intelligence. The way that this story grows and the way you discover new things that no one else would ever thought about, makes this a recommended movie.

  • Definately a thriller of the highest quality! I have to say this movie starts really slow, an hour into the movie, nothing really happens other than planning and character development. But every scene leading up to when the action starts Russel Crowe is great. Once the action starts it doesn’t stop until the films ends and it actually is pretty good, despite some cliché’s and plot holes. Really loved this movie!
