  • Ever since a group of kids went into the woods with some camcorders and created The Blair Witch Project and sold it for a millions dollars, everyone has been trying to do the same thing, only with different horror themes. Paranormal Activity gave us shaky camera ghosts. Rec one and two and Quarantine gave us shaky camera flesh eating zombies. George Romero tried that too with Diary of the Dead. Cloverfield gave us shaky camera Godzilla. Baghead gave us a shaky camera slasher. Open Water gave us shaky camera Jaws. District 9 gave us shaky camera aliens. Now we finally have shaky camera exorcism with The Last Exorcism. And that’s about all it is, another Blair Witch Project rip off. Perhaps shaky camera movie makers ought to try a different genre. How about a shaky camera romance? How about a shaky camera comedy? Highly unrecommended!
