Katie (Julianne Hough) is a battered brunette who may or may not have murdered her husband (David Lyons). • “Safe Haven” has a great plot with good romance combined with a mystery and drama. There are some thriller-like parts, and it’s more than just a great love story. The ending was probably my favorite part, it had a big twist that got me. I also liked the performances of Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel. This movie definitely was well worth the watch and entertaining throughout. You won’t be disappointed, unless you expect a “Notebook” like movie.
