  • I remember when I was growing up and I loved pointless action flicks and the Lethal Weapon franchise was by far my favorite series. It beats die hard by a long shot which is the movie this was competing against a lot in the 80s.Mel Gibson and Danny Glover do a great job as very believable partners they have great chemistry.

This movie is about a older cop named murtaugh(Glover) who is given a new suicidal off the wall partner named Riggs(Gibson). They both hate working with a partner but they must put their differences aside so they can stop a group of drug smugglers.

I know the story is really nothing new actually back in those days it was quite original and groundbreaking. But even for today this movie still holds up because for its day it had some great production values.
