  • Peter Jackson directs another masterpiece in his movie career. This is the remake of the 1933 original. When I heard Peter Jackson was directing this King Kong remake, I was so stoked because he was very successful directing the Lord of the Rings films. I can not think of any director who could have directed this movie better.

The action sequences were very well shot. Especially when Kong was fighting the T-Rexes. The look of him was just outstanding. He is so lovable when he is not fighting other creatures and injuring people. The actor who played him also played Gollum in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He played his role with a lot of heart and soul.

And to Naomi Watts for her portrayal as Ann Darrow. She really put forth a lot emotion into the role. She and the actor who played Kong have really good chemistry.

And finally hands off to Jack Black for his role as Carl Denham. For an actor who plays a lot of comedic roles, he sure did a good job playing a character who is serious. His character has such a great charisma. This movie is a true masterpiece.
