  • This film is rated PG-13 and I’m not exactly sure why. They show the giants eating people but that’s it. I think this film could have easily have been PG. They don’t swear, no nudity, nothing. I didn’t really recognize any of the actors and actresses either. I recognized the king as a pirate in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series. This movie was not a movie I wanted to see but I also had no choice. I suppose that over all I would say that it was an okay movie. Not one I would see or own.

The story is basically about how the giants took over and then were defeated. The giants return… and “Jack” saves the day. The movie has two small stories that end up coinciding with each other. There is love, action, adventure, and humor in this movie. There is both adult and kid humor. I think a lot of the humor was kid, but there were a few times that it was adult as well.
