  • Denzel Washington and director Tony Scott team up for the third time (earlier “Man on Fire” and “Crimson Tide”) on this brilliant film that mixes philosophy, drama and action along with brain-twisting physics. Be warned, “Deja Vu” is a thriller with the potential to seriously confuse the snot out of you, so bring your thinking cap. It keeps you thinking and wondering what on earth is going on. There were a lot of clues given as well throughout the movie. The story grabs you right from the explosive beginning and keeps hold of you right to the excellent finale. The story is superb as are the visual elements. The characters are outstanding. The acting is perfect, not over the top and very believable. Denzel Washington once again proves what a versatile actor he really is along with excellent supporting roles from Val Kilmer, Jim Caveziel, Adam Goldberg etc. Enjoy the ride while you can!
